Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
No. My services are private pay. I am considered an out-of-network provider.

Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for services provided by a licensed psychologist. If you choose to pursue reimbursement, I can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, and clients are responsible for confirming their benefits.
What are your fees?
Individual psychotherapy sessions are $250 for 50 minutes. Payment is due at the time of each session.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment may be made by credit card, HSA card, or Zelle through a secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that at least 24 hours’ notice be provided for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee.

When notice is given, I will make a reasonable effort to offer an alternative time, though availability cannot be guaranteed.
How often are sessions scheduled?
Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis. Frequency may change over time depending on your needs and the focus of the work.
How long do people stay in therapy?
There is no single timeline for therapy. Some clients engage in focused work over a shorter period, while others continue as new questions or areas of growth arise. The length of therapy is shaped collaboratively and revisited as the work evolves.
What can I expect in the first few sessions?
Initial sessions focus on developing a shared understanding of what brings you to therapy, relevant background, and what you hope to explore or change.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults and adolescents seeking individual psychotherapy online. Clients come to therapy for a range of reasons, including periods of transition, emotional or relational concerns, and a desire to better understand themselves and long-standing patterns.
What is current availability?
I typically meet with clients from 6am - 1pm during the week (Eastern Standard Time). During your consultation call, I share my most current availability.
Are you licensed?
Yes. I am a licensed psychologist and currently licensed to practice psychology in New York, Florida, and New Jersey. Clients must live in one of these states in order to work with one another.
Do you offer in person sessions? How does online psychotherapy work?
I do not provide in person sessions. Sessions are held through a secure HIPPA compliant video platform designed for health care providers. There, clients can access my calendar, request an appointment and join sessions through a secure link. Sessions are joined through your internet browser and are encrypted and confidential.
Do you offer reduced fees?
I offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments based on availability. If this is something you would like to inquire about, you are welcome to raise it during a consultation.
How do I schedule a consultation?
If you’re interested in exploring whether working together feels appropriate, you may request a consultation through the scheduling link on this site.
